TUGUEGARAO, Cagayan, Philippines —A farmer was allegedly hacked to death by his son in Barangay Pug-os, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur on Sunday.
Fred Vicente reportedly attacked his father Florentino at around 6:30 a.m. for no apparent reason.
The victim died while being treated in a hospital.
The suspect, who is reportedly suffering from a mental illness, escaped.
