NORTH COTABATO, Philippines — Government troopers arrested two members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) in Midsayap on Sunday.
Ambong Adam, 39, and Endo Sapelon, 48, were collared by personnel of the local police and 34th Infantry Battalion in Barangay Nabalawag based on information provided by local officials and community elders.
Three M1 Garand, an M16, a .50 caliber Barrett and two M14 rifles were recovered from the BIFF men, Chief Inspector Aldrin Gonzales, Soccsksargen police spokesman, said.
