TUGUEGARAO , Philippines — Two men died in separate accidents involving motorcycles in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur over the weekend.
Dareen Galangco, 17, was traveling in Candon City, Ilocos Sur when his motorcycle hit a concrete flower box on Saturday night.
Galangco was declared dead on arrival in a hospital after he was thrown off his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, Jay Ace Sebastian, 23, died after his motorcycle collided with a car in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte on Friday.
Police said Sebastian swerved, causing him to crash into the car driven by bank manager John Mariano, 53, at around 6 a.m. in Barangay Buyon.
Sebastian was declared dead on arrival at the Governor Roque Ablan Sr. Memorial Hospital in Laoag City.
Mariano surrendered to responding police officers.
