TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A police officer was gunned down in Isabela on Wednesday.
Senior Police Officer 2 Abe Banaag, 42, of the Provincial Public Safety Co. based in Ramon town was playing basketball in Barangay Minante Uno in Cauayan City when an unidentified man approached and shot him several times.
The assailant fled on a white Montero.
An investigation is underway.
