MANILA, Philippines – Various groups are set to stage rallies in various areas to condemn the Supreme Court’s (SC) decision to allow the hero’s burial of late President Ferdinand Marcos.
University councils and organizations invited its communities to gather and condemn the SC’s ruling on Tuesday. All lamented that the late president was no hero.
University f the Philippines Alyansa will hold a candle lighting ceremony at the UP Diliman campus while UP Association for Social Change, Empowerment and National Development will hold an indignation rally in UP Los Baños.
Here are the lists of areas and schools where gatherings will be held for the Marcos burial decision:
- Ateneo De Manila University Gate 2.5 – 5:00 p.m.
- University of the Philippines Diliman Quezon Hall – 4:00 p.m.
