MANILA, Philippines — A male Singaporean national fell to his death from the 22nd floor of a condominium tower at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig City on Friday morning.

Police identified the Crescent Park Residences tenant as 28-year-old Zhang Qiao Sheng, a manager of a business process outsourcing company, radio reports say.

Taguig City Police chief, Sr. Supt. Arthur Felix Asis said he jumped from his 22-D unit at the condominium building located at 30th St. corner 2nd Avenue about 4:29 a.m.

Asis said Zhang reportedly called up his friends and told them that he will kill himself.

The victim, Asis added, also instructed his friends to inform his parents in Singapore that he loves them.

"He gave no reason for his desire to commit suicide," Asis said.

Police said the victim's body was brought to Veronica Funeral Homes in Pasay City.

Asis said there is no indication that foul play was involved in the incident.
