MANILA, Philippines - A 28-year-old woman died after falling from the 28th floor of a condominium building in Ortigas, Pasig City, early Thursday.
Police identified the woman as Helena Belmonte, a model and owner of a Unit-E on the 28th Floor of the Renaissance Tower in Ortigas.
The victim allegedly fell from her condo unit's veranda into the 7th floor at around 1:30 a.m. She was reportedly drunk.
Investigators said that the victim's boyfriend and another female were in the condo unit when the incident happened.
Reports said that according to the boyfriend, they just arrived from a party. The boyfriend said that they allegedly left the woman in her bedroom, but when they returned she was also gone.
They later found Belmonte's body on the 7th floor.
Police were investigating the incident.
