Cebu execs face probe over cybersex dens

MANILA, Philippines - Officials of Sitio Sun-Oc in Barangay Ibabao in Cebu will be among those investigated for the proliferation of cybersex dens, where children are made to perform sexual acts with their mothers, relatives, or playmates to cater to the needs of American pedophiles, a National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) official said yesterday.

In an interview with The STAR, Czar Eric Nuqui, executive officer of the NBI’s Anti Human Trafficking Division (AHTRAD), said they want to know what has been done to stop the illegal trade from becoming a “cottage industry.”

Nuqui said erring officials would be charged along with the parents of the children who engage in the illicit trade.

Last week, the NBI-AHTRAD rescued 13 children aged six to 15 who are allegedly being peddled online by their own mothers for a minimum of $50 an hour.
