SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – A former barangay captain, who was supporting a town mayor running for re-election, was gunned down by two unidentified men on a motorcycle in Barangay Dela Paz, San Simon, Pampanga.
The victim was identified as Marciano Intal, 63, a former Dela Paz barangay chairman.
Intal was talking with a certain Alex Sanga at the waiting shed of Dela Paz Elementary School when he was gunned down.
Omar Intal, a son of the victim said his father was a supporter of Mayor Leonora Wong.
