Easterlies to bring warm weather

MANILA, Philippines - The eastern section of the country will experience warm weather as the easterlies or the wind coming from the east will continue to prevail over the area.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday said the "warm" easterlies are also rich in moisture and that the "warm, moist winds" are expected to bring partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms in the rest of the country including Metro Manila.

On Monday, the temperature in Metro Manila reached 34.1 degrees Celsius. For Tuesday, temperature is expected to be between 24 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.

Coastal waters, meanwhile, will be slight to moderate.
