Hunt for car theft leader goes int’l

DAVAO CITY , Philippines – The hunt for Ryan “Baktin” Yu, the suspected leader of a car theft syndicate operating in Mindanao, has gone international as he is believed to have already left the country.

Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said authorities have tapped other countries and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) to search for Yu.

Duterte has increased the bounty for Yu’s capture from P4.5 million to P5 million.
