BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya ,Philippines – A 4.5 magnitude earthquake rocked Batanes province early yesterday morning.
Reports stated that the quake was recorded at around 5:31 a.m. with its epicenter some 41 kilometers southeast of Basco town.
The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, was recorded at a depth of 148 kms in the middle of Balintang Channel.
There were no reports of deaths or damage to property from the quake.
