6 Isabela athletes hurt in road mishap

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya , Philippines  – Six athletes who had just come from a sports meet were injured after their van collided with a small truck in Isabela the other day. 

Reports said the six, three of them identified as Frizel Suanzon, Susan Amistad and Ariel Aggabao, were on their way home to Delfin Albano town when their Delica van collided with an Isuzu Elf truck in Barangay Arcon, Tumauini town.

The victims were part of a 46-man delegation from Delfin Albano that took part in a provincial sports meet in Ilagan, the capital town.

The van’s driver, a certain Joseph Taguba, was also injured.
