Vizcaya acquires mobile hospital

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – Residents of this landlocked province can now avail themselves of medical services within their community or even right at their doorstep, thanks to a P12.4-million mobile hospital which the provincial government recently acquired.

Vice Gov. Jose Gambito said the Korean-made mobile hospital is equipped with an X-ray machine, electrocardiograph (ECG), dialysis machines, and other top-of-the-line medical equipment.

Gambito said the 16-wheeler mobile hospital is the first of its kind in Cagayan Valley. – Charlie Lagasca
