CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A regular member of the New People’s Army operating in Tarlac and nearby provinces voluntarily surrendered to authorities yesterday. Chief Superintendent Errol Pan, Central Luzon police director, identified the surrenderee as Rhea Pamposa alias Mina/Tonnete, a member of the Tagapagsanay-sangay ng Partido sa Platun Committee of the NPA. The suspect voluntarily surrendered to combined Tarlac Provincial Police Office, 1st Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army and 70th Infantry Battalion. – Ric Sapnu
