Leukemia patient still needs help

Jose Emmanuel "Joma" Mangulabnan, the 13-year-old boy stricken with leukemia who is about to undergo bone marrow transplantation, is once again appealing to kind-hearted and generous individuals as his family has not yet raised the P1.8 million to P2 million needed for his hospitalization and medical expenses.

Originally scheduled last June 26, the bone marrow transplantation was moved to July 7 as the boy’s attending physicians recommended that he first undergo massive chemotherapy.

Joma is now confined at Room 713 of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa under the care of doctors Francisco Lopez and Allan Robert Racho.

Any form of assistance will be highly appreciated by Joma’s parents, Rommel and Nancy Mangulabnan. For more information, contact the Asian Hospital and Medical Center at 771-9000 to 02, or the Mangulabnan family at cellphone numbers 0917-4718647 and 0916-5056204.
