3 hurt as guard fires shotgun

MANILA, Philippines - Three persons were wounded when a security guard accidentally pulled the trigger of his issued shotgun in Pasig City Tuesday.

Kennon Koi Armamento, 25; Carla Jane Velasco, 23, and Mishella Alfonzo, 30, were taken to the Medical City for treatment.

Police said responding village watchmen arrested Jayroid Riola, 26, security officer of an e-games shop in Barangay San Antonio.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Jose Hidalgo Jr. ordered the filing of charges against Riola, who was held at the Pasig police detention center.
