MANILA, Philippines - The Muntinlupa City government has turned over 10 additional motorcycles to the local police to beef up its drive against motorcycle-riding criminals.
Mayor Jaime Fresnedi turned over the motorcycles to city police officer-in-charge Senior Superintendent Allan Nobleza during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony.
The Southern Police District will train a special unit that will go after street criminals, particularly motorcycle-riding robbers, Fresnedi said.
The mayor also ordered the Barangay Drug Abuse Council to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs in the city.
