MANILA, Philippines - Two men were arrested Monday in connection with the murder of a Presidential Management Staff employee and his partner last week.
Taxi driver Elvis Venus, 35, identified Corpuz brothers Danilo, 37, and Darlito, 40, as his alleged accomplices in the attack on engineer Wenefredo Serrano, 52, and his partner, Leticia Gundayao, according to Senior Inspector Steve Casimiro, chief of the Manila Police District’s homicide division.
Venus and Danilo were arrested Monday night while Darlito remains at large.
Venus reportedly drove a taxi used by the Corpuz brothers when Darlito shot dead Serrano and Gundayao in front of their house in Sampaloc, Manila.
