Aie Balagtas See - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old woman whose family is due to be evicted from a Quezon City slum won P4.5 million after dreaming of the winning numbers for the 6/45 lotto draw last Monday.

The winner, an office clerk, had been betting for a year before she hit the winning combination: 06-07-25-29-09-37. She said her family had been told they were about to be evicted, said Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) media officer Joseph Muego.

“My father died early. I’m the only one my siblings are relying on. I thank God and PCSO that I won the lotto,” she told PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II when she received her check.

The winner said she plans to save for her siblings’ education and put up a salon for her mother.
