MANILA, Philippines - The family of a 19-year-old woman who went missing Friday is seeking the help of authorities who can locate her.
Kristine Ricafort de Silva failed to come home Friday night after reporting for work at the Freight Way Cargo in Escolta, Binondo, Manila.
Herminia Santos, aunt of De Silva, said her niece went to work on Friday and sent her a text message at past 8 p.m. that she was on her way home to Bocaue, Bulacan. De Silva also sent a text message to her service tricycle driver that she was on her way home.
They never heard from her again.
De Silva is from San Jose Peñaranda, Nueva Ecija and a fresh graduate of customs administration. Her relatives said she has been in Manila for barely five days.
