LTO rushes stickers, plates to branches

MANILA, Philippines - The Land Transportation Office said yesterday the supply of plates and stickers is coming in and will be distributed everyday to all of its offices nationwide.

In a letter to LTO chief Arturo Lomibao, sticker supplier GJB Enterprises, committed to make daily deliveries to meet the demand.

The firm also assured that all motorists who will register their vehicles will be issued their corresponding windshield stickers and plate year tags.

According to the LTO, 14,000 pieces of stickers for private vehicles and 12,000 pieces stickers were delivered Tuesday for distribution and a total of about 1.3 million stickers and plate year tags are expected to come in until March 3.        – Reinir Padua
