Munti offers free transport for OFWs
The Muntinlupa City government has announced that it will provide free transportation service to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) returning or visiting the country starting Dec. 1.
Mayor Aldrin San Pedro said under the program, city government personnel will pick up arriving OFWs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and bring them to their respective homes.
The program is open to all families living in Muntinlupa City whose loved ones will be returning to the country for Christmas.
Myrna Dullavin, head of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), said relatives of returning OFWs only need to come to their office and register the date of arrival of their relative at least a week ahead. – Rhodina Villanueva
