Pinay wife tagged in Briton slay case?

The investigation into the murder of Briton Steven Davis has led to the possible involvement of his Filipino wife and her alleged lover.

This developed as operatives of the Makati Police Criminal Investigation Section apprehended the other day a second suspect in the case.

Police identified the suspect as Arnold Adoray, branch manager of Silver Wings Security Agency in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Adoray, together with the first suspect, security guard Alexander Dagami, were positively identified by Canadian Michael Dunn as the individuals who entered his apartment in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City last July 17 and shot Davis.

Based on police records, the incident took place last July 17 inside the apartment being rented by Davis and Dunn, his business partner, in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City.

At around 2 a.m. three armed men entered into the apartment and found Dunn and his girlfriend in the room preparing to sleep.

One of the suspects asked for the keys to their car and with a gun pointed at the direction of Dunn, asked his companion "Ito ba? Ito ba? (Is this him? Is this him?)."

The suspects locked up Dunn’s girlfriend inside the toilet and proceeded to the adjacent room where Davis was sleeping.

The Canadian told the police that he heard four gunshots after which the suspects ran out of the apartment.

Davis was critically wounded and died before reaching the hospital.

During the course of the investigation, police were able to find an informant who showed them the location of the suspect.

Follow-up operations conducted last Wednesday led to the arrest of Dagami, who works as security guard at the Sta. Maria Subdivision in Angeles City.

Subsequent investigations conducted in the area revealed that Davis’ wife Dianita was often seen with the suspect both in and out of her home.
