ABS-CBN news had reported that new enrolees were ordered by medical personnel of RMHS to undergo the summer rite of passage to be admitted.
A number of parents interviewed by The STAR confirmed ABS-CBN’s reports, saying that they were forced to have their sons circumcised just to be sure of being admitted at the RMHS.
But according to RMHS principal Dr. Cristine Reyes, how can circumcision and other prescriptive diagnosis be imposed on new students when they were already enrolled in April. – Nestor Etolle
