Siguion-Reyna questioned the survey results presented by Locsin which showed him winning the first district race by more than an 85 percent margin against his two other rivals including the former Movie and Television Review and Classifications Board chief.
She claimed that the welcome she received from the depressed areas of Makati City was a sure sign of her popularity in the low-income sector.
The host of the decades-old television show "Aawitan Kita," who was well known as a fiery individual during her stint at the MTRCB, said that Locsin could not register the same degree of enthusiasm from the poor families of Makati City.
"They are the ones who are coming out of their homes whenever I arrive. I don’t see them doing that for Teddy Boy Locsin so I don’t know where his landslide victory is going to come from?" she said with reference to the squatter areas.
Siguion-Reyna, who is running under the Partido ng Masang Pilipino of deposed President Joseph Estrada, has also thrown her full support for the PDP-Laban party of Makati mayoral candidate Jejomar Binay who was also a well-known Erap supporter.
Although Binay failed to support her candidacy, Siguion-Reyna maintains that Binay is the candidate of choice because of his accomplishments in Makati City.
"I am supporting mayor Binay because of his health, education and all of the livelihood programs of the city government. How can you go up against a mayor na malaki ang pakinabang ng tao, malaki ang benepisyo sa lahat ng mahirap sa Makati?"– Marvin Sy
