Skeleton found in brgy Pusok

CEBU, Philippines - A human skeleton was found by construction workers at a site in sitio Mustang, barangay Pusok in Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning.

After digging deeper upon the orders of the construction foreman, more bones were found.

Residents said the area where the bones were found served as a cemetery before the second world war.

The police took the bones to the public cemetery in sitio Humay-humay in barangay Gun-ob where these were buried. – Flor Z. Perolina (FREEMAN)
