Show and Tell

MANILA, Philippines - Held at the Bench Tower, The Showroom 2016 featured the holiday collections of Bench, Human, Kashieca, and HerBench. Bench’s freshest drops — suit blazers paired with t-shirts, sweaters over button-downs, and double cuffed jeans-show that easy dressing can be, well, easy.

The Bench presentation also featured Benchsetters Angel Manzano, Emil Khodaverdi, Kahlea Belonia, Mathew Custodio and Arisse De Santos — the local label’s up-and-coming ambassadors.

After all, the brand’s staying power can also be attributed to its ability to grasp the pulse of things. On the other hand, standout street style has always been Human’s forte, and their latest collection continues to highlight individuality with bomber jackets, joggers and statement tees. Over at HerBench, casual cool wear (with an emphasis on “cool”) reigned supreme. Denim jackets and pullovers were either worn or tied around the waist, making for great layering accents to keyhole dresses, culottes and printed tops. Meanwhile, Kashieca’s signature feminine style is given a French twist with fuzzy berets over teased tresses and schoolgirl socks. From pinstripe off-shoulder tops and calf-grazing pencil skirts to pinafore dresses worn over pastel tie-neck button-downs, Kashieca’s latest offerings are equal parts dainty and quirky. Looks like The Showroom’s got all the sartorial bases covered. Get on it.
