White walker: The fashion show featured panties designed by Liza Soberano.

MANILA, Philippines - Carefree and Meg’s #PrettyInWhitePanty Party was a slumber party paradise. Designed to promote Carefree’s new line of panty liners, the party (and, well, the liner) was designed to give girls the confidence boost to don white trousers sans the fear or embarrassment from stains or leaks. Before the event, Carefree and Meg magazine held a contest where girls were tasked to design white underwear using the “Prettify Your Panty” web application. The ones with the best designs were then invited to the exclusive get-together, along with the option of bringing two of their best friends.

Held at SM Aura’s Samsung Hall last Saturday, July 2, the party was filled to the brim with excited girls all dressed in white bottoms. The venue opened up to a black room featuring two freedom walls. The guests were provided with pens and encouraged to express themselves however they wanted on the blackboards, aimed to further promote the confidence Carefree hopes to instill through the use of their panty liners.

The main event room was a showstopper. A runway stood at the very center, surrounded by photo booths, food stands, a giant tent filled with big white fluffy pillows, and a panty designing area where guests could get their art on (they keep all the panties they design, of course). The party ended with a fashion show featuring 10 panty designs created by Liza Soberano, who made a guest appearance just in time to take a bow.
