Time to man up with Sunnies Studios’ first collection of sunglasses for discerning dudes.

MANILA, Philippines - Sunnies Studios may be the newish kid on the block, but it took no time for it to become everybody’s go-to place for great eyewear. They’re deceptively affordable, too: with their on-trend, sleek designs, you’d think that they would cost more than the P299-399 price range. Add to that the slew of beautiful It girls wearing them on their filter-free photos, and their 92,000-strong Instagram audience… you’ve got a certifiable style behemoth.

Extending its reign with Sunnies Specs (a series of chi-chi retro eyeglasses that could make any hipster drool ironically), Sunnies Studios has now come up with Sunnies Man, a line of men’s sunglasses that are much like their female counterparts: suave, affordable, and very covetable.

The first offering seems to be inspired by the sort of adventure that any young man would love to have. Tortoiseshell offerings like the Corey and the Robbie are perfect for days when you’ve got backpacks at the ready and yachts in full gear (okay, we wish.) Even the plainest white tee-shirt looks good in the sleeker Parker and Macaulay. And because everybody looks good in aviators—and we mean everybody—the Jones is a sure thing.

It’s a compact collection, but one that definitely packs a punch. It’s a cliché perhaps, but it does have a look for every dude: from the shy, broody types who just want to smoke their Marlboro Reds in peace to the broskies who will go down as far as Jose Cuervo lets them. Sunnies Man may be the newest kid on the block now, but we won’t be surprised if it crowns itself king in no time. —Margarita Buenaventura
