Walk on the Burberry side

A journey to London’s sights and scents was the beginning of a fun evening at the premiere launch of Burberry’s latest fragrance, Burberry London for Men at Piedra (the Fort) which was also a fête of Burberry’s 150th anniversary as it celebrates the brand’s history, its rich British heritage, style and its continued evolution under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey.

Last year, Burberry London for Women was successfully launched so this time the men get a chance to experience London in a bottle as Burberry creates a fragrance that evokes walks down Saville Row or Jermyn Street and reminds us of the city’s distinct sense of style, fashion and the "modern English gentleman" combined with the perfect scent created by Antoine Maisondieu of the fragrance house, Givaudan. It’s a perfect mixture of notes — the scent is a refined and elegant woody ambery with a blend of fresh bergamot and daring black pepper with hints of aromatic Lavender and spicy cinnamon leaves. Heart notes create a hint of subtle seduction bringing together luxurious leather, subtle mimosa flower notes and port wine, while the base notes combine tobacco leaves, guaiac wood, dense oak moss and soft opoponax to complete the distinctive and signature fragrance.

A great gift for the men in our lives, the Burberry London for Men Eau de Toilette ranges in size from 30, 50 and 100 ml bottles, wherein they also offer other body and grooming essentials such as After Shave Spray, After Shave Emulsion, Hair & Body Wash, and Deodorant Stick to complete the collection. The night did not end there as it progressed to the premiere of its latest AD Campaign wherein everyone enjoyed not only the sights, sounds and scents of London but also the traditional taste of its wine and cocktail nibbles prepared by Rene Barbier Wines and the Chefs at Piedra.
