MANILA, Philippines — Bea Alonzo teased her viewers with the Japanese-Scandinavian look of her soon-to-be office space.

The actress toured her YouTube viewers inside the model unit and her actual condo unit and listed down her plans to convert her condo into her workspace.

"Sa totoo lang, we've been working so much at home, na hindi ko na masyadong nahihiwalay ang pag-work at relaxation ko. I really need my personal space and a place where I could relax," the actress said.

"Naisip ko dapat yata ihiwalay ko 'yung workspace ko at 'yung home space ko," she added.

She tapped the same designer, Jeizele delos Reyes-Go, who did her house in Quezon City and her farm in Zambales.

"I'm going for the Japandi (Japanese-Scandinavian) design, which is a combination of Scandinavian functionality and Japanese rustic minimalism, because as you can see, it's not a big space but it's enough space for me to work and meet-up with the team all the time," Bea explained.

Apart from acting, the "Start Up Philippines" actress has a growing YouTube channel, currently at 2.88 million subscribers.

The office will open to a hidden pantry with granite countertop where she plans to place heating appliances and a refrigerator. Directly opposite it is the bathroom which Bea had also customized with carrara marble, first seen on her Madrid apartment in a separate vlog.

Bea is consistently for open spaces with good ventilation as she decided to fuse the two-bedroom unit into one whole space that will feature a couch, a lounge area and a huge TV that would look like a "co-working space."

Her personal office takes the best spot with its awning windows that open up to a wonderful and unobstructed view of the city. It will not be entirely hidden as it will be partitioned by a French door.

She also plans to make the balcony a "tambayan" (hanging out) place with a little coffee table, seats and plants to "give life" to her office space.

Bea also plans to put up roll-up backdrops for all her YouTube content and videos. She estimated that her new workspace will be done in a month or a few weeks' time. — Video from Bea Alonzo's YouTube channel
