MANILA, Philippines - Organized in 1921 by a group of expatriate Catholic ladies, the Catholic Women’s Club (CWC) has been at the forefront of serving the sick and the needy for the past 88 years. It has remained committed to its mission of rendering service to the poor, fostering fellowship among members, raising funds for charities and being faithful handmaids of the Lord. Led by CWC 2009 president Nonie T. Basilio, the noted charity club recently inducted its new officers for 2009. Congratulations!
