MANILA, Philippines- Robby Carmona, Apples Aberin, and Liz Uy judged aspiring models for the Tresemme 2014 Runway show on June.

At the grand casting call held last May 15 at the SM Mega Fashion Hall, more than 700 male and female models walked the runway to prove that they deserve to be included in the 200 models to join the Tresemme Runway show.

Robby Carmona, one of the most sought after fashion show directors,  said that they're looking for “that model who develops his or her own style, especially in her catwalk skills.”

He said,  for example,  former model and now PR maven Apples Aberin has her " distinct walk, distinctly her own walk. She glides, she floats-- it's something you totally remember from a model because it's distinctly her own.”

For her part, Aberin said that this upcoming local event aims to prove that  they are  the trendsetter here in the Philippines. "We got the top professionals in the industry because we want the people to get a salon gorgeous hair, that's what it's all about.”

Liz Uy added  that as the models show off all they've got on the catwalk, they'll also look for the model who can pull off a perfect look  regardless of their hairstyle.

“Well I think the hair will either make or break the look,” she comments. “Everything should be perfect coz it'll determine the whole look. And also that's why it's called the crowning glory.”

Among those who auditioned for Tresemme's grand catwalk show are celebrity models including Ian Batherson.
