Pastry Alliance of the Philippines goes for the gold in Singapore and Korea

MANILA, Philippines - With renewed energy and commitment, a more experienced Pastry Alliance of the Philippines is preparing for the Food & Hotel Asia (FHA), one of the largest and most prestigious expositions in the region, to be held from April 17 to 20.

Top finalists from the 2nd Philippine Culinary Cup (PCC) qualifiers have earned their spots to represent the country in Singapore. The Shangri-La Hotel duo of Bryan Dimayuga and Rizalino Manas vie against other national teams in the Asian Pastry Cup live competition for the 2013 World Pastry Cup in Lyon, France.

Christopher Borja of Davao and Jehan Damasco of Nueva Vizcaya are competing in the Wedding Cake Category.

Miko Aspiras and Clyden San Pedro, the only gold medalist for Plated Desserts at the HOFEX 2011, will test their mettle with new challenges in the World Association of Chefs Societies Congress in Daejeon, Korea, from May 1 to 15.
