MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata had a brief reply when reporters praised her hair and said that the actress really has what it takes to enter the “Asia’s Next Top Model” competition.
In an interview at the red carpet of the recent Myx Music Awards 2018, Maymay only said “salamat” while smiling when asked to comment on netizens’ request for the young actress to join the modeling competition.
The Fox Life TV show posted on its official Facebook page that the young actress is part of their “wish list.”
Last year, American supermodel Tyra Banks liked Maymay’s Star Magic Ball red carpet photo.
Nonetheless, netizens’ clamor to cast Maymay on ANTM might have to wait for another year as the show recently uploaded on its Facebook page that the show has already started filming its cycle 6 first episode, where Philippines’ official representatives will be introduced: Jach Manere and Adela Marshall.
Last year, Maureen Wroblewitz became Philippines' first "Asia's Next Top Model" winner. Maureen is now a top model in London and is handled by modeling agency Storm Models.
