Indonesian company makes wristwatch out of waste wood

MANILA, Philippines - MATOA, an Indonesian company based in Java, has managed to make eco-friendly products by recycling waste wood and turning them into a classic wrist watch.

MATOA, whose name came from an endangered tree species in Papua lives up to their goal - to bring originality and sustainability to the fashion industry -  by creating beautiful pieces of wrist watch via sustainable, tropical hardwood, reclaimed from old furniture.

According to the website, the company not only wants the people to look good, but also feel good, by wearing something that is ecological friendly. 

With an average production of 25 pieces a day, the company delivers across the country and also some other nine countries worldwide.
