WATCH: Piolo Pascual on how he teaches son Inigo to save money

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual teaches his son Inigo to save money because he knows that work in show business is not forever.

In a recent Sun Life event held at the World Trade Center in Pasay where he is the endorser, Piolo said that what is good about Inigo is he would not have to tell him things regarding saving money.

“He’s a great man, he’s a good kid, he keeps the money and saves up. Hindi naman siya kuripot, I should say he’s more practical because he knows lahat ng ginagawa niya, it’s work. Work is not gonna be there forever,” ABS-CBN’s “Since I Found You” star said.

“You have to work hard for your money and I guess he values that. Having brought him from the states, alam niya yung value ng hard work and the value of hard-earned money,” he added.

Piolo credited his sister, Chiqui Pascual-Gonzales, for her guidance to the actor’s management of finances that makes a difference.

According to Piolo, his sister, who also happens to be Sun Life Advisor, has been instrumental in ensuring that his dreams for his family all come true.

“It’s a partnership thorough and through. With her help, I’ve been able to make it all happen while still pursuing my own passion and advocacies,” Piolo said. — Video by Kat Leandicho
