Manila Pavilion Hotel launches new Alcuaz function rooms

MANILA, Philippines - Waterfront Philippines Inc.’s Manila-based property, the Manila Pavilion Hotel, pays homage to National Artist Federico Aguilar Alcuaz as it named its new function rooms in his honor.

Christian Aguilar, son of Federico Aguilar Alcuaz; Arthur Lopez, chairman of Acesite (Phils.) Hotel Corporation; and general manager Christopher Park led the ceremonial toast to launch the new function rooms. A token of appreciation was also given to Christian that symbolizes his father’s craftsmanship expressed in his paintings.

At the foyer of the new function rooms, guests were welcomed by an art exhibit featuring the works of National Artist Federico Aguilar Alcuaz.

An appreciation party was also held to recognize the top producers of Waterfront Hotels and Casinos Group for 2013.

The Waterfront Hotels and Casinos Group came in full force led by corporate sales & marketing director Theresa Fernandez together with Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino general manager Philippe Frugere and Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao Hotel manager Raoul Guanzon, among others.
