MANILA, Philippines - Thirteen Filipino exhibitors participated in the Seafood Expo Asia, organized by Diversified Communications, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from September 8 to 10.
The exhibition provided buyers and suppliers of seafood with a platform to network and explore new business opportunities in markets internationally and throughout Asia.
Some Filipino seafood products offered were pasteurized crab meat, fresh, frozen and chilled tuna, fresh frozen shrimps, frozen peeled deveined shrimp, Nobashi shrimp, frozen cooked octopus and fresh frozen giant squid, ready-to-cook or eat yellow fin tuna, swordfish, live groupers, lobsters crabs and live Anguilla eels.
First time Filipino exhibitors were Phil-Union Frozen Foods, Inc., Mommy Gina Tuna Resources, Inc., Philfresh Corporation, Integrated Growers and Traders of the Philippine Eel Industry, Grand Catch Inc., Trans-Ocean Food Products, Inc., Donny’s Choice Food Processing Export Import Inc., Jamesrie Aquamarine Products, Sea Diamond Trading, Seaworld Commercial Trading Corporation, Saravia Blue Crab, Cacaya Aqua Ventures and Citra Mina.
Seafood Expo Asia took place alongside Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong, which gave it an instant face-to-face access to catering services, restaurants, supermarkets, importers, distributors and wholesalers from Asia-Pacific in one location.
