Best paella in town

We enjoyed the delicious taste of Catalonia cooking at the official launch of “La Catalana” held at the Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Cucina restaurant.

The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant just concluded the food festival starring the culinary expertise of the hotel’s executive chef Lluis Cantons Pesarrodona, who hails from Catalan.

Each flavorful dish in the buffet spread was paired with the best of Spanish wines. The highlight of the luncheon was a live cooking demonstration by Chef Pesarrodona of his famous Paella Mixta with Carabineros and Scampi. It was a mouthwatering sight of giant prawns flown in from Spain and the freshest seafood simmering on a giant paellera.

We would like to thank Marco Polo Ortigas Manila general manager Frank Reichenbach, director of F&B Mirko de Giorgi and director of marketing communications Judith Los Baños for another memorable gastronomic experience.
