An enchanted evening

Philippine Red Cross governor and Young Women’s Christian Association of the Philippines national president Leonida ‘Baby’ Ortiz with ‘Prince of Pop Opera’ Jonathan Badon.

One can never underestimate the power of music. Whatever your preference is — be it classical, pop or rhythm and blues — music makes life more livable.

A recent proof is the concert produced by the Young Women’s Christian Association of the Philippines (YWCA) national president and Philippine Red Cross governor Leonida “Baby” Ortiz.

Entitled “An Enchanted Evening with the Prince of Pop Opera,” the show starred trained tenor Jonathan Badon with the Tales of Music ensemble and soprano Jenny Lind Delorino as guest performer. Held at the Teatrino, Promenade in Greenhills, San Juan City, the concert was staged for the benefit of the YWCA and the Philippine Red Cross.

Congratulations to the event producer Baby Ortiz for a successful venture!
