No worries at the ‘Hospital with a Heart’

MANILA, Philippines - It takes a compassionate heart to give utmost care to a patient.

In a bid to provide dedicated service to their patients, premier health institution Makati Medical Center and leading health maintenance organization MediCard Philippines Inc. inaugurated recently the latter’s newest satellite clinic at the second level of the hospital.

Leading the inauguration were MediCard president Dr. Nicky Montoya, 24/7 organization and human capital development group senior manager Maricris Agregado-Ong, occupational health and wellness manager Dr. Geraldine So and MakatiMed president and CEO Rosalie Montenegro.

According to Montoya, the new clinic at MakatiMed has an electronic queuing system, a big waiting area, and more consultation rooms, to ensure efficient delivery of their services.

MediCard members can head to the satellite clinic to obtain referral slips and request forms and to receive assistance in their hospital admission coverage.

“MediCard continues to find ways to deliver its unique brand of dedicated service to its customers,” Montoya said. “Soon, MediCard ER Triage nurses will be available to address the needs of the card’s growing number of members in MakatiMed.”

The satellite clinic is located at Room 246, Hall C of MakatiMed’s Tower 1. It is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
