A joyful tradition called Pasinaya

The Pasinaya is an annual event celebrated with joy, dedication and gratitude by the residents of Bel-Air Village in Makati City. This year’s event was a pulsating celebration enjoyed by the villagers and their friends.

The word “pasinaya” means thanksgiving. On the festival’s 12th year celebration, with the theme Viral at Bel-Air, the people behind this vibrant annual event hope to inspire other villages to develop united and God-fearing communities where joy and gratitude prevail.

During the finale, Barangay Bel-Air chairwoman Constancia “Nene” Lichauco thanked all the performers who danced with all their hearts. She expressed her deep appreciation to director Floy Quintos and the show choreographers composed of Tintin Limjap, Cecile Martinez, Lisa Chingcuangco, Bimbim Ebol, Ching Pagaduan, Andrew Ferraris and Lyle Villahermosa.

She also thanked the Women of Bel Air, Makati Commercial Estate Association, the dedicated staff who worked behind the scenes, and all those who shared her passion for the Pasinaya festival this year.

“It is my fervent prayer that this tradition of thanksgiving will go on forever,” she said.
