March 29: Easterlies to bring rains to Metro Manila, says PAGASA

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect rains due to the easterlies, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its weather forecast on Sunday, March 29, PAGASA said that Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
In a separate advisory, PAGASA said that from March 30 to April 1, the ridge of a high-pressure area over the northwest Pacific will extend across northern Luzon.
According to the state weather bureau, this will bring “generally clear” to partly cloudy skies over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region.
During this time, the rest of the country will remain partly cloudy to cloudy apart from a “new rainshowers or thunderstorms” due to the easterlies.
