MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte continued to post the highest net satisfaction rating among top government officials, followed by former Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III, in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

The nationwide survey conducted from March 24 to 31, 2026 showed Duterte registering a net satisfaction rating of “moderate” +29, while Sotto posted “moderate” +15.

Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III and Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo trailed behind, with “neutral” ratings of +4 and +9, respectively.

Duterte: highest rating, steady performance

Duterte’s +29 net satisfaction was composed of 54% satisfied and 25% dissatisfied respondents.

It remained broadly steady compared to previous results, with only slight movements across regions.

SWS said her strongest base remained in Mindanao, where she posted an “excellent” +82 rating, followed by the Visayas at +36, and neutral figures in Metro Manila and Balance Luzon.

Sotto: moderate but mixed movement

Sotto recorded 44% satisfaction and 28% dissatisfaction, giving him a +15 net rating.

His strongest showing was in Balance Luzon at +21, followed by the Visayas and Mindanao, while Metro Manila remained lower at +3.

SWS noted slight declines in some regions compared to the previous survey period, though gains were seen in Mindanao.

Dy, Gesmundo: neutral territory

Speaker Dy posted a net satisfaction rating of +4, based on 32% satisfaction and 28% dissatisfaction.

His scores were highest in Balance Luzon and lowest in Metro Manila, where he posted a negative rating.

Chief Justice Gesmundo registered a +9 net satisfaction rating, with 35% satisfied and 26% dissatisfied.

His performance remained stable across survey periods, with only minor regional shifts.

Survey background

The SWS survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,500 adults nationwide, with a ±3% margin of error for national estimates.
