Price Tracker: Oil, fuel monitor for Apr. 30
MANILA, Philippines — Motorists are seeing a third straight week of rollbacks in diesel prices, even as gasoline prices have begun to edge up again.
For the Tuesday, April 28 adjustment, the Department of Energy said diesel prices fell by P12.94 per liter and kerosene by P15.71 per liter, while gasoline rose by P0.53 per liter.
Four state-procured diesel shipments had already arrived, totaling about 178 million liters, which the department said was enough for around five more days of buffer stock.
Officials have maintained that domestic fuel supply remains adequate, citing inventory levels and ongoing efforts to stabilize the market.
