DepEd: Non-teaching personnel get 2-day WFH

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education (DepEd) is giving non-teaching personnel the opportunity to work from home (WFH) for two days before the end of October.
Education Secretary Sonny Angara issued a memorandum dated Oct. 24, adopting a two-day WFH arrangement for non-teaching personnel within the wellness break period from today to Oct. 30, on the condition that even while working from home, they should be able to continue rendering government service.
Angara said the WFH arrangement for non-teaching staff should be approved by their superiors.
“Non-teaching personnel may be allowed to render services through WFH arrangement for a maximum of two days within the period of Oct. 27 to 30, 2025, inclusive of their availment of the Combination Flexible Working Arrangement, subject to the approval and discretion of the head Office, and consistent with the provisions of DepEd Order No. 4, Series of 2025 (Guidelines on the Implementation of Flexible Work Arrangements for Non-Teaching Personnel),” he said.
