Metro residents show appreciation for Go’s service

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila residents reaffirmed their support for the senatorial bid of former special assistant to the president Christopher “Bong” Go as they welcomed him during his motorcade in Parañaque and Las Piñas last April 24.

The motorcade started at around 4 p.m. and ended past 7 p.m.

As early as May 2018, long before he decided to run for the Senate, Go had visited and provided assistance to fire victims in Barangay Tambo in Parañaque.

In January and February this year, Go also visited fire victims in Barangay Moonwalk and Barangay San Isidro, respectively, to cheer them up and call for assistance.

Go had likewise provided assistance to fire victims in Las Piñas when he was still a government official.

He assured the people that he remains committed in his support for the programs and policies of President Duterte, who he had served for over 21 years.

“I promise you that I will continue the reforms initiated by President Duterte, especially the campaign against illegal drugs, crime and corruption,” he told supporters.
