MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte canceled his official visit to Brunei following an explosion that tore into his hometown Davao City.
At least 14 have been killed while 67 others have been confirmed wounded in the blast at the city's busy night market on Friday.
The president on Saturday morning has placed the whole country under a state of lawlessness following the explosion.

Duterte's visit to Brunei would have been his first trip outside the country after assuming office as the new president of the Philippines. He was scheduled to visit Brunei from September 4 to 5.
The president, however, will push through with his official trip to Vientiane, Laos to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit from September 6 to 8.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, Duterte will formally accept the chairmanship of ASEAN for 2017 at the leaders' summit next week.
The Philippines will host the ASEAN summit next year.
